JPG · PNG · WebP

Make your images lighter for the web, email or online forms, directly in your browser. Set the quality with a slider, pick the output format (WebP, the most efficient, or universal JPG) and instantly compare the before/after size: savings of 60 to 90% are common with no visible difference. Batch processing and ZIP download included. Your photos never leave your device.

How does it work?

  1. Drop one or more images (JPG, PNG, WebP…).
  2. Set the quality (80% is an excellent trade-off) and the output format.
  3. Click “Compress”: the size saving is shown for each image.
  4. Download each image, or everything as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Which quality should I choose?

Between 75 and 85%, the difference is invisible to the naked eye for most photos, with the size divided by 3 to 10. Go down to 60% for thumbnails, stay at 90%+ for print.

WebP or JPG?

WebP compresses 25–35% better than JPG at equal quality and supports transparency; every modern browser reads it. Pick JPG if the file must open in legacy software.

Can compression ever make a file bigger?

Rarely: a very simple logo PNG can sometimes weigh less than its lossy-compressed version. In that case keep the original — the size is displayed for each image.
