Why is my certificate reported as invalid?
Three causes cover most cases: the certificate has expired, it doesn’t cover the domain you tested (issued for www.example.com but not example.com), or the intermediate certificate chain is misconfigured on the server. The details shown — dates, subject, alternative names — tell you which one applies.
How long is an SSL certificate valid?
Public certificates are capped at 398 days; free Let’s Encrypt certificates last 90 days and are designed to renew automatically. If your certificate is nearing expiry without auto-renewal in place, schedule it now.

Does my certificate cover subdomains too?
