Share photos without revealing where and when they were taken.
Every photo taken with a smartphone carries EXIF metadata: precise GPS coordinates, date and time, camera model, sometimes even a serial number. Posted as-is on a website, a marketplace listing or a forum, it can give away your home address or your daily routine. This tool strips all of that by re-encoding the image: format and dimensions are preserved, only the invisible data disappears. Drop one or several photos, get them back clean — individually or as a ZIP — with the before/after file size displayed. The cleaning happens entirely in your browser: your photos are never uploaded to any server, which is exactly what you'd expect from a privacy tool.

Frequently asked questions
What data is removed exactly?
All metadata embedded in the file: GPS coordinates, capture date and time, camera make and model, shooting settings (ISO, aperture…), editing software, embedded thumbnails and assorted profiles. Only the pixels remain.
Does it affect image quality?
Dimensions are untouched and the image is re-encoded at high quality in its original format, so the difference is invisible. Files often come out slightly smaller — embedded metadata and thumbnails can weigh tens of kilobytes.
Why remove EXIF before posting a photo?
Because the GPS coordinates in a photo taken at home pinpoint your address within a few metres. Selling something online, illustrating a blog post, sharing on a forum — none of these need your location attached.
Don't social networks already strip EXIF?
Major platforms remove it from what they display, but they read it on the way in — and personal sites, CMSs and classified ads keep it untouched. Cleaning before you publish is the only guarantee.
