Which meta tags are truly essential?
The core trio: title tag, meta description and canonical URL. On top of that, Open Graph tags (og:title, og:description, og:image, og:url) for polished social shares, and twitter:card for X. The generator produces the whole set in the right order.
Is the meta keywords tag still worth adding?
No. Google has ignored it since 2009 and other engines followed. Filling it gains nothing and can even reveal your strategy to competitors — this generator deliberately leaves it out.
What does the canonical tag do?
It declares a page’s official address when several URLs lead to the same content (tracking parameters, trailing-slash variants…). Without it, Google may split authority between duplicates or pick the wrong version to display.
Where do I paste the generated code?
